
Women's Golf Returns to Action at Spring Break Tournament

LAKE MARY, Fla. - After a month off the IPFW women's golf team returns to the course for the Seminole State Spring Break Tournament. The event will be have shotgun starts on March 10 at 9 a.m., while the final round will begin at 8 a.m. on March 11.

Format: 36-holes with 18 holes on Tuesday and 18 holes on Wednesday
COMPETING TEAMS
IPFW will compete against 14 other teams. The Mastodons and host Raiders will be joined by: Dalton State, John A Logan, Ursuline, Wofford, High Point, Florida Atlantic, Appalachian State, Niagara, Radford, USC Upstate, Gardner Webb, Detroit, and Creighton.
THE COURSE
The championship layout at Timacuan Golf Club has long been recognized as one of the purest and most enjoyable tests of golf in Central Florida. As a semi-private club Timacuan welcomes public play. The strategies differ from hole-to-hole, creating a sense of anticipation rarely felt in Florida. The front nine holes are situated on a rolling landscape, which is rare among golf courses in Florida. The back nine, though equally challenging, is completely different from the former half. Timacuan Golf Club's back nine holes highlight the best aspects of Florida golf, meandering through scenic wetlands and Spanish moss-draped oak trees. Water hazards come into play on seven holes.
