Mastodons Finish 17th at NYX Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - From top to bottom the IPFW men's golf team finished the third round separated by four strokes at the NYX Hoosier Invitational as the Mastodons placed 17th at the two-day tournament with a score of 932.

Hosted by Indiana University at the par-71 IU Golf Course, the tournament was played at 6,813 yards.
Wisconsin claimed the team title with a 54-hole score of 853. Jose Montano from Xavier captured the individual medalist honors with a two-day total of 6-under-par 207.

Drake Devereux is the top finisher for the 'Dons, shooting a final round 78 to tie for 72nd with an overall score of 229. Devin Jenkins and Oliver Gibson finished the weekend tied for 80th place with scores of 234, respectively. Finishing one stroke back finishing 85th overall is David Watterson. Tyler Meyer wrapped up the weekend in 90th position with a tournament total of 245.

IPFW turns its attention to the Summit League Championship in Lompoc, California, which will take place May 1-3.
