FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's soccer team will look to rebound from its season-opening loss at Northern Kentucky with a 1 p.m. weekend finale match against the Bowling Green Falcons.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons fell in their season opener by a 3-1 score to the Northern Kentucky Norse on Friday evening in Highland Heights, Kentucky. In the game, the host Norse jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before the Mastodons got their goal of the match when Rachel Good took a pass from Andie Lazzerini, dribbled down the field and found a waiting Kallianne Mogler for the score.
Good and Mogler led the team with two shots apiece, as six other players - Tessa Edwards, Mayson Whitman, Kassidy Simpkins, Erin Gill, Chani Warfield, and Lazzerini each had one shot in the contest.
Kiley Dunning played the entire 90 minutes in goal, picking up six saves in her first collegiate start.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Bowling Green took its season opener by a 4-0 score over the Chicago State Cougars - all three of the goals coming in the first 28 minutes of the match.
Alexa Cheripko scored the eventual game-winning goal in the sixth minute of the game. Erica Hubert scored in the 12th minute. Bowling Green got its next two goals within a 28-second span, Madison Schupbach scored 27:20 into the game, before Mikaela Couch added the fourth and final goal of the match 28 seconds later, 27:48 into the match.
The Falcons split time in goal between two goalkeepers. Lauren Cadel got the start between the pipes and played the first 51 minutes of the game, before being lifted for Alexis Smith. Cadel had two saves in the game, while Smith had three.
