
Women's Soccer Closes Road Swing in Indianapolis

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - In the final game of a four-game road swing, the IPFW women's soccer team travels to Indianapolis to take on the Butler Bulldogs in a 1 p.m. kickoff.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
IPFW looks for its first win of the 2015 season, after falling 2-1 on Friday evening at Youngstown State. The Mastodons have not had a home match in September this season, with the meeting with the Bulldogs providing the final contest of a four-match road swing.
In the match against the Penguins, IPFW and Youngstown State found themselves tied halfway through the first half, before the hosts scored in the 29th minute for the eventual game-winning goal, as the teams played the final 60 minutes of the match without a shot finding the back of the net.
Three players - Kallianne Mogler, Andie Lazzerini, and Brooke Bishir - have each scored once for IPFW. Mogler and Lazzerini each have three points as they have added an assist during the year, while Rachel Good leads the team with two helpers.
Sophomore Kiley Dunning leads the team with 39 saves and a 2.89 goals against average, having been in goal for just shy of 500 minutes this season, while freshman Haley Lydon has played in five matches and 132 total minutes with a goals against average of 4.08.

Butler comes into the game after a 2-1 loss at home to Kent State on Friday evening. In that game, Haley Stelbasky scored 13 minutes into the match; however, the Golden Flashes scored in the 19th minute, and the eventual game-winner came 20 seconds before halftime.
Halle Stelbasky leads the team with six goals, while Serina Kashimoto, Sophia Maccagnone, and Paige Monaghan each have two goals scored on the season. Maccagnone and Randi Delong each have three assists to pace the squad, with Alex Holmes dishing out two helpers through eight matches on the season.
In goal, sophomore Madison Card has started all eight matches, and has been in goal for 675 minutes during the year. She has four shutouts and a goals against average of 0.80, giving up just six goals while stopping a dozen shots.
ALL-TIME SERIES WITH BUTLER
Sunday's match-up is the 10th all-time meeting between the two programs since 2001. Butler won the first two meetings between the two teams, before the Mastodons went on a four-match stretch in which they had a 2-1-1 record. Butler has won each of the last three meetings, coming in each of the last three seasons.
