
Women's Soccer Looks to Continue Offensive Push at Detroit

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After scoring seven goals in the team's last game, the IPFW women's soccer will look to continue its offensive outburst on Wednesday afternoon when the team travels to Detroit to take on the Detroit Titans.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
A week after tying the IPFW single-match scoring record with seven goals in a contest, the women's soccer team takes on the Detroit Titans.
In the win over Taylor, Brooke Bishir, Kassidy Simpkins, Erin Gill, Katrina Sutherly, Rachel Good, and Kallianne Mogler each scored, while the Mastodons also benefited from an own goal. Paityn Fleming tied a school record by dishing out two assists, while Simpkins, Mayson Whitman, and Good each added an assist. Goalkeeper Kiley Dunning stopped five shots while keeping her first clean sheet of the 2015 season.
Mogler and Bishir have each scored twice this season, while Good has dished out three assists. Good's three assists this season are tied for the eighth-most in a season in program history, while Dunning's 67 career saves rank ninth in the IPFW record book.
SCOUTING THE TITANS
Detroit comes into the mid-week contest after winning its last two matches by a 1-0 score over Eastern Michigan and 5-0 over Green Bay. In all the Titans are 4-4 for the year.
Leading the way for Detroit is a group of six players - Alyssa Lotito, Anna Mindling, Phylisha Drayton, Sara Zawacki, Carley Rice, and Molly Kean - that have scored two goals apiece. Lotito leads the team with two assists, while scoring six total points.
Defensively the Titans have split time between two goalkeepers - Marina Manzo and Claudio Eustaquio. Manzo leads the pair with 22 saves over 360 minutes, as Eustaquio has a 1.70 goals against average with 21 saves.,
