‘Dons Drop 1-0 Decision To Omaha

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne fell 1-0 to Omaha on Saturday (Oct. 15) in a Summit League contest at the Hefner Soccer Complex.
The difference in the contest came in the 69th minute. Omaha's Fazlo Alihodzic scored from the edge of the 18 for his seventh goal of the season. Jake McCain assisted on the tally.
The Mastodons had a chance in the final minute for the equalizer when Oscar Uyamadu's header was stopped with 32 seconds remaining.
Fort Wayne played the majority of the contest down a man after a red card in the 13th minute.
Omaha improves to 6-4-3 (3-0-0 Summit) with the win. Fort Wayne falls to 7-6-0 (1-2-0 Summit). The 'Dons are back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 18) in a 6 p.m. start at home with Valpo.
