
Women's Golf Heads To Florida For Pair of Tournaments

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Coming off its a dual match with Southern Illinois, the IPFW women's golf team heads to Florida for consecutive tournaments hosted by Butler March 7 and 8, and March 9 and 10.

Format: 36 holes with 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday
THE COURSE
The municipally owned and operated, 18 hole layout first opened its doors to the Jacksonville golf community in 1960. However, since that inaugural year there have been a number of updates and improvements. Some of which include a re-design in 1987 by Robert Walker, as well as a complete greens renovation that took place in 2009. In addition, two surface acres of lakes and numerous bulkheads were added to enhance the challenge and beauty of our course. It all adds up to a challenging and fun test of golf only 12 blocks from the ocean.

THE COURSE
Windsor Parke Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18-Hole Championship Golf Course designed by Arthur Hills. The course has hosted more USGA qualifying events than any other course in the city of Jacksonville. Hosted qualifying events include the US Open, US Amateur, US Publinks and US Senior Amateur. Windsor Parke Golf Club is recognized by the NGCOA as a "Beginner Friendly" golf course – the first certified club in Jacksonville.
