Max Landis Named To 2016 Lou Henson All-America Team

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- IPFW graduate student Max Landis/Indianapolis was named to the 2016 Lou Henson All-America Team, as announced by CollegeInsider.com at this weekend's Final Four. The Henson All-America Team consists of players from schools considered as Mid-Majors among NCAA Division I men's college basketball. Landis is the school's first-ever selection to this team.
The Summit League Player of the Year and First Team All-League honoree started all 33 games he played in this season and averaged 19.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 37.2 minutes. Landis shot 45% (196-433) from the field, 46% (125-274) on three-point field goals and 81% (121-149) at the free throw line, adding 30 steals, while the team leader in points (638, 2nd-best all-time), scoring average, field goals, field goal attempts, three-pointers (new season-record), three-point attempts, three-point percentage, free throws, free throw attempts, free throw percentage, assists (121) and minutes (1228).
