Mastodons Tally Best GPA in Department History

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - With a 3.41 grade-point average across all sports, Purdue Fort Wayne student-athletes turned in the highest GPA in athletic department history in the 2025-26 academic year.
The Mastodons collected a 3.37 overall GPA for the spring semester, with the men's volleyball program having the highest men's GPA at 3.40, and women's soccer and women's volleyball tying for the best among women's sports with 3.70 GPAs. Each of those programs set program records for spring term GPAs.
For the entire academic year, the 3.41 department GPA was highlighted by men's volleyball's 3.48 and women's soccer's 3.69. The two programs, along with women's track and field's 3.53, were program records for an academic year.
