Women's Soccer to Face Eastern Illinois on Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Fort Wayne women's soccer team will travel to Westfield, Indiana to face Eastern Illinois on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game was moved to Grand Park due to wet field conditions. Fort Wayne will remain the "home" team.

Scouting the Mastodons
Fort Wayne looks to get its first win of the season after falling 2-1 in overtime to Western Michigan on Friday (Aug. 19). Freshman Chloee Foor scored the goal for the 'Dons in the first half, while Kallianne Mogler recorded the assist.

Scouting the Panthers
Eastern Illinois enters the game on Sunday 0-1, picking up a 1-0 loss at Bowling Green on Friday (Aug. 19). The Panthers only managed to record three shots against Bowling Green, and a goal in minute 88 ended the visitors' hopes of victory.

Series History
This is the second meeting between the Mastodons and the Panthers. They met last season in Charleston, Illinois, when the Panthers took a 3-1 victory.

Last Time Out
The Mastodons were forced into overtime against Western Michigan after the Broncos scored the equalizer goal with 5:01 remaining in regulation. The 'Dons had been leading for 60:28 following a first-half goal from freshman Chloee Foor. The golden goal came at 91:33 to end the game in favor of the Broncos.
