FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After beginning the Summit League with back-to-back victories, the Fort Wayne women's volleyball team returns home to take on defensing Summit League Tournament champion Denver on September 30 at 7 p.m.

Libero Olivia Hahn has been named the Summit League Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for her performance, Sept. 19-25.
Hahn earned her sixth career Defensive Player of the Week award and third this season after leading the Mastodons to a 2-0 record to begin league play. She recorded 48 digs in the five-set win over Omaha, which broke a program record. Her 48 digs are the most by an NCAA Division I player this season and second in Summit League history. Hahn closed out the weekend with a 20-dig performance in a sweep of Western Illinois. For the week, she totaled 68 digs over eight sets averaging 8.5 digs per set.

Olivia Hahn set a new Fort Wayne record for digs in a match as the Mastodons defeated Omaha 3-2 on Friday, Sept. 24.
Hahn's team record 48 digs are the most by an NCAA Division I player this season and are second most in Summit League history. Hahn's new mark eclipsed the old Mastodon record of 47 by Tessa McGill on Sept. 14, 2010 against Ball State. She became only the fifth player in Fort Wayne history to surpass 40 digs in a match. It is only the fourth time that a Mastodon has reached 40 digs during the 25-point rally scoring era (since 2008).
