GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Fort Wayne men's soccer team went on the road Sunday (Sept. 4) afternoon and came away with a 2-1 victory at Green Bay in a non-conference contest.

Fort Wayne jumped on the board in the 28^th minute when Keelan Barker scored his first career goal in a Mastodons uniform. The tally was assisted by Matthew Lieshout as it came off a corner kick. The Mastodons took the 1-0 lead to halftime and it didn't take long in the second half for the visitors to all but put the game away. Oscar Uyamadu dribbled past several defenders and beat the keeper to his left to record his first goal of the season. His goal came at 52:42.

Green Bay was held at bay for over 80 minutes until Andre Baires scored in the 86^th minute for the Phoenix on a deflected free kick. Jorge Trujillo started for the 'Dons and made three saves to pick up the victory.

The Mastodons move to 2-2-0 with the win while the Phoenix fall to 0-4-0. The 'Dons are back in action on Friday (Sept. 9) against Bradley. The match will be played at 5:30 p.m. in Evansville, Indiana.
