FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The women's soccer team in Fort Wayne continues Summit League play by welcoming South Dakota to the Summit City on Friday (Oct. 13) at 7 p.m.

Scouting the Mastodons (1-11-0, 0-2-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons enter the weekend at 1-11-0, 0-2-0 in Summit League play. Kendall Quinn leads the team in goals with three, while Kallianne Mogler leads the 'Dons in assists with five. Fort Wayne's two Summit League matches so far this season have been decided by one goal; Omaha and Western Illinois both won 1-0.
Scouting the Coyotes (2-11-0, 0-3-0 Summit League)
The Coyotes come to Fort Wayne 2-11-0, 0-3-0 Summit League. Their two wins came in back-to-back fashion over Creighton (1-0, OT) and at North Dakota (1-0). Since then, South Dakota is on a seven-match losing streak. Four different Coyotes have scored a goal, but as a team, South Dakota has five goals on the year.
Pink Out
The matchup between Fort Wayne and South Dakota will serve as Fort Wayne's Pink Out game. The Mastodons have been participating in Pink Outs to raise money for the Vera Bradley Foundation to fight breast cancer.
When We Last Met
Fort Wayne fell to the Coyotes in the 2016 edition of the series with a 2-1 final score. Katrina Sutherly scored an unassisted goal in the 76th minute, but the 'Dons could not score the equalizer.

With four assists over the matches against Indiana State and Robert Morris, Kallianne Mogler set the program record for career assists with 13. Mogler has five assists on the year, which puts her second on the team in points for this season.

The Mastodons have held seven of its opponents scoreless in the first half of each contest. Detroit Mercy, Evansville, Youngstown State, Western Michigan, Valparaiso, Robert Morris and Western Illinois were all unable to score on the 'Dons in the first 45 minutes of play.
Fresh Legs
Seven different freshmen Mastodons have found their way into the starting lineup at some point this season. Jessica Schoenfeldt and Gabrielle Fanning have started all 12 contests, while Emma Gaggioli has started the last five. Baylee Kramer has three starts, Kailyn Wade and Breanna Buche have two, while Cesiley LaCourt has one.
Brace Yourself
Kendall Quinn and Deanna Hecht both had two goals in the 'Dons 4-2 victory over Robert Morris. Quinn had her brace completed before the 10-minute mark, which was the first time in program history that two goals had been scored against a Division I opponent within 10 minutes of the first kick.
Looking Back
Fort Wayne fell at Western Illinois 1-0 on Sunday (Oct. 8). The 'Dons shutout the Leathernecks in the first half.
