Kitchen Leads Men’s Cross Country At Bradley Classic

PEORIA, Ill. - Logan Kitchen led the Fort Wayne Men's Cross Country squad at the Bradley Classic on Friday (Oct. 13) afternoon.
Kitchen finished in 99th with a time of 26:29.6. Alex Barton was a spot behind at 26:29.8. Bret Unger took 134th (27:06.6). Sam Williamson took 137th, stopping the clock in 27:09.8. Robert Peck ran a time of 27:12.9 for 140th. Sammy Moran finished in 27:40.2 to take 160th. Kurt Unger took 168th, stopping the clock in 27:59.
Gabe O'Keefe ran a time of 28:25.5 and Connor Shaffer finished in 28:35.5.
The men finished the 8K in 22nd place with a score of 610. They bested league-rival Western Illinois who took 28th.
Iowa (84) won the team title.
Friday's event was the final meet before the league championships. The Summit League Championship is set for Oct. 28 in Vermillion, S.D.
