Women's Golf Finishes 6th at Final Event of the Fall

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne women's golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate, as the Mastodons finished in sixth place with an 18-hole score of 328. The tournament was limited to one round after play was cancelled on Monday due to weather.
Hosted by Evansville at the Oak Meadow Country Club, the par-72 course was played at 6,032 yards. Butler and Southern Illinois tied for the team championship with scores of 311. Rachel Gathof also of Butler claimed the individual medalist honors with a 3-over-par 75.
Leading the way on the day for the 'Dons was Madison Chesnutt in a tie for 16th place with a 79. Sitting one shot back in a tie for 18th was Monica Dorner. Jenna Kurosky ended the day tying for 28th place, carding an 82. Paige Bird shot an 87 and tied for 58th position. Linnzie Richner wrapped up the scoring for the Mastodons, shooting a 90 to finish tied for 70th place.
