Fort Wayne closed out the comeback victory with a kill from Rightnowar, and a double block by Boerst and Elizabeth Fuerst.
The 'Dons were unable to duplicate the comeback in the second as NDSU went up 8-3 early and didn't relent. Fort Wayne turned it around in the third set, running away with it and closing out the frame with a 5-0 run. The Mastodons trailed early in the fourth set. Down 12-8, the 'Dons responded with a 7-1 run to take the lead for good, and closed out the match with a 9-3 advantage.
