SCOUTING THE FLAMES
Liberty has Division I wins over Wake Forest, Quinnipiac, Howard, Georgia State and Maryland Eastern Shore. Lovell Cabbil leads the squad in scoring with 13.3 points per game. The Flames and 'Dons nearly met last season, as they both advanced to the Quarterfinals of the CIT.

THE EVENT
Thursday's contest is part of the New Orleans Shootout. It will be played at Xavier's Convocation Center. If the 'Dons defeat Liberty, Fort Wayne will play on Friday (Dec. 22) at 3:30 p.m. ET against the winner of Alabama State and Louisiana Tech. If the 'Dons fall to Liberty, they will play the loser of Alabama State and Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m. ET on Friday. The 'Dons have never played Alabama State or Louisiana Tech.
ON THE INDIANA WIN...
- The 22-point lead the 'Dons had over Indiana at one point is the largest lead they have earned against a Division I opponent this year.
