WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Fort Wayne men's golf team jumped three spots on the final day of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate to finish in 19th place with a three-day score of 921.

Hosted by William & Mary at the par-70 Kingsmill Resort - River Course, the tournament was played at 6,778 yards. Tennessee captured the team title with a 54-hole score of 850. Three players tied for the individual medalist honors with a 1-under-par 209 for the tournament.

The Mastodons carded a 295 on the final day to leap Xavier, Towson and Saint Francis (PA.) in the standing, and finishing one shot back of St. Bonaventure.

Zach Schroeder earned a top-20 performance with a final-round even-par 70 to finish tied for 20th with a score of 217. One shot separated Devin Jenkins and Cody White as they finished with scores of 232 and 233, respectively. Jenkins tied for 86th while White tied for 89th. Dan Wert ended the week in 111th position, shooting a 54-hole score of 241. Daniel Shepard rounded out the scoring for the 'Dons with a 251 to finish in 116th place.

Fort Wayne next takes to the course for the Hoosier Invitational April 1-2.
