FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Fort Wayne women's soccer team will travel to Muncie, Ind. to face Ball State on Friday (Aug. 18) at 5 p.m.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons enter the regular season by traveling to Muncie for a matchup against Ball State. The Mastodons finished the exhibition portion of the season with a win and a loss. Fort Wayne topped Grace 1-0, but fell to Oakland 1-0.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Ball State opens the regular season with the Mastodons after having an exhibition against Oakland. The Cardinals and Golden Grizzlies ended with a 0-0 draw. The Cardinals finished the 2016 season 14-3-3, and were knocked out of the Mid-American Conference Tournament by Northern Illinois in PKs.
SERIES HISTORY
This is the 14th meeting between the Mastodons and the Cardinals. They met last season in Muncie, when the Cardinals took a 2-0 victory. Ball State leads the overall series 11-1-1.
