FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Fort Wayne women's soccer team is set to visit the Penguins of Youngstown State on Friday (Sept. 1) at 7 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Stadium.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS (0-3-0, 0-0-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons enter the weekend 0-3-0, with losses coming to Ball State, Detroit Mercy and Evansville. Kendall Quinn is the only Mastodon to have scored a goal so far this season, which was one of her two shots on goal this year.
SCOUTING THE PENGUINS (3-1-0, 0-0-0 Horizon League)
The Penguins are riding a three-match win streak, with wins coming over St. Bonaventure, Arkansas Pine Bluff and Southern. YSU won 1-0, 3-0 and 4-0 in the respective games. The Penguins lone loss came at Canisius, where YSU fell in 1-0 overtime fashion.
WHEN WE LAST MET
Fort Wayne took a 4-3 win over the Penguins in Fort Wayne in 2016. Kallianne Mogler had a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal, en route to Summit League Offensive Player of the Week. Allyson Hayner also scored a goal for the Mastodons.

Two freshmen, Jessica Schoenfeldt and Gabrielle Fanning have played significant minutes through the Mastodons' first three matches, including starting in all three. Schoenfeldt is averaging 72 minutes while Fanning is playing in 80 minutes per game.
