Play Suspended During Second Round of Men's Golf Tournament

KETTERING, Ohio - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team had play suspended during the second round of the Dayton Flyer Invitational. The Mastodons sit in eighth place after carding a team score of 301 during round one.
Hosted by Dayton at NCR Country Club - South Course, the par-71 course is being played at 7,019 yards. Davidson leads the team standings with a 1-over-par 285. Alex Ross also of Davidson and Chris Handy of Oakland carded a 3-under-par 68 to lead the individual standings.
Callahan Elzey and Clark Tiller led the 'Dons on the day shooting a 74 to tie for 27th. Tiller led the Mastodons with five birdies in the round. Cody White was one shot back in a tie for 33rd. Zach Schroeder fired a 78 and is tied for 62nd. Eric Brinker is in 70th place with an 80.
Playing as an individual, Josh Keating carded a 78 and is tied for 62nd.
The second and third rounds continue tomorrow, October 16, at 10 a.m.
