EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. - Deanna Hecht scored her fifth goal of the season in Purdue Fort Wayne's loss at North Dakota on Sunday (Oct. 21).
North Dakota scored four goals before halftime, two of which came from Olivia Knox. They added three more after the break, which all came from Katie Moller, who totaled four on the afternoon.
Hecht finished strong, scoring her goal in minute 88 after making a move around the defense and shooting into the corner. Lindsay Yankasky was credited with her first career assist on the goal. With her goal, Hecht enters the top-10 in program history in career goals.
With the 7-1 loss, Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 3-12-3 (0-7-0 Summit League) while North Dakota improves to 9-4-2 (3-2-1 Summit League). The 'Dons return home for their final match of the season on Thursday (Oct. 25) with Western Illinois.
