'Dons Fall to Oral Roberts on the Road

TULSA, Okla. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer team fell to Oral Roberts on Sunday (Oct. 10) at the Case Soccer Complex. The final line of 1-0 was decided on an 82nd minute goal by the Golden Eagles.
The Mastodons held a 5-3 shot advantage at halftime while the score was still 0-0. Neither team had a shot on goal in the first 45 minutes. The 'Dons controlled the ball for most of the second half, but Oral Roberts managed to creep past the defense with a pass from Drishana Pillay that set up Amogelang Motau for the goal.
Deanna Hecht had the only shot on goal for the Mastodons, which came in the 65th minute after a corner kick by the 'Dons. Purdue Fort Wayne finished the afternoon with a 9-8 edge in shots.
