Freshman Jarred Godfrey had 23 points vs. Earlham on Nov. 8. He is the first Mastodon freshman to score 20 points in a game since John Konchar did it four times as a redshirt freshman in 2015-16. Godfrey is the first true freshman to hit the 20 mark since Mo Evans scored 22 against Purdue Calumet on Nov. 20, 2013. It is a good sign for Godfrey, as Evans and Konchar both rank in the top five in scoring in program history.

IT HAS BEEN A LONG JOURNEY FROM MILAN TO FORT WAYNE
In what could be best described as a young team's educational journey... Purdue Fort Wayne went on a foreign tour to Italy from August 6-16th. The 'Dons played three games and traveled to Milan, Vicenza, Venice, Florence and Rome among other cities.

• John Konchar was selected to this third Summit League First Team last year, making him the first 'Don in program history (DI or DII eras) to become a three-time all-league first team honoree.

The last time a student-athlete earned Summit League All-Tournament Team honors playing just one game in the tournament was in 1990 when Lee Campbell of Missouri State earned the honor.
