Senior Paityn Fleming holds the record for the fastest goal scored in a Mastodon uniform. She scored in 28 seconds after the opening kick against Denver on October 27, 2017. Fleming surpassed former teammate Gaby Romo for the fastest goal, who scored in 34 seconds against IUPUI in 2016.

The Mastodons went toe-to-toe with Indiana State, ending with a 0-0 draw through 110 minutes of play. The 'Dons led in shots 13-6 and corner kicks 7-0. Haley Lydon and Lorah Pund split the duties in goal to share the shutout.
