YORKTOWN, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team travels south down I-69 for the Cardinal Classic to compete in their second competition of the season September 17 and 18.

Par: 72
Yardage: 6,204
Format: 54 holes with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday

COMPETING TEAMS
Purdue Fort Wayne will compete against 15 other teams. The Mastodons and host Ball State will be joined by: Bowling Green, Bradley, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Dayton, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana State, Ohio, Southern Illinois, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UIndy, Western Illinois and Western Michigan. Indiana will also have individuals competing.
THE COURSE
The Players Club is a public 18-hole golf course often proclaimed as the best track in East Central Indiana. The course condition is always in top shape, thanks in part to the bent grass greens, tees, and fairways. Holes 4 and 14 will challenge players to hit it straight, while holes 1 and 6 provide lots of room for error. Water will challenge the players on seven holes, while the numerous bunkers come at players all over the golf course.
