DENVER - Despite Lorah Pund recording a career-high 14 saves and tying the DI era record, Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer couldn't hold off Denver and fell 4-0 on Sunday (Oct. 27) at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium.

In minute 16, Pund had a diving save to the right side that knocked a shot past the end line. On the subsequent corner kick, Purdue Fort Wayne had a team save on another shot to the right side of the frame. In minute 23, Pund saved another on an outstretched arm in the top of the goal. Two minutes later, Pund tallied another save as she fell backwards into the net, and Isabelle Wissel cleared it away. Denver got on the board in minute 19 as Hannah Adler scored one of her brace.

In the second half, Denver scored three more. Megan Sinnott tried to get the Mastodons on the board with a shot at the bottom center of the goal, but it was saved.

Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 4-9-3, 0-5-1 Summit League and Denver will advance to a record of 9-4-3, 5-0-1 Summit League. The 'Dons will come back to the Hefner Soccer Complex for a spook-tacular Halloween matchup against the Omaha Mavericks on Thursday (Oct. 31) at 7 p.m.
