No. 3 Purdue Fort Wayne Heads to Summit League Championship

DENVER - The No. 3 seed Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball team is heading to its final Summit League Championship Presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare this weekend, with its first-round match coming against Oral Roberts at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, November 22. The tournament will be live-streamed for free by the Summit League.

The Opening Round Foe
Purdue Fort Wayne will open the Summit League Championship with a match against Oral Roberts. The Mastodons swept the Golden Eagles twice in the regular season: at home on October 11 (25-23, 25-18, 25-19) and on the road on November 10 (25-23, 25-23, 27-25). CeCe Madison led Oral Roberts in the regular season with 3.93 kills per set, finishing the season at 8-22, 4-12 Summit in a tie for sixth with North Dakota. ORU had the tiebreaker over the Fighting Hawks to get into the tournament.

Junior Katie Crowe is nearing 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs for her career at Purdue Fort Wayne. She has 921 kills and 995 digs heading into the Summit League Championship. She is looking to be the 10th Mastodon in program history to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in their career.
