'Dons Ranked No. 14 in AVCA Preseason Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association released its 2020 Coaches Poll on Thursday (Dec. 5) and Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball will start the season in 14th.
Purdue Fort Wayne is one of three Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association teams to be ranked in the Top-15, joining No. 6 Lewis and No. 11 Loyola Chicago. The 'Dons will face off against five of the Preseason Top-15 teams: Lewis, Loyola, No. 5 UC Santa Barbara, No. 13 CSUN and No. 15 Penn State. Two of the four teams receiving votes will also play the Mastodons in 2020: Ball State and George Mason.
The Mastodons finished the 2019 season ranked No. 15 after a 17-12 record and trip to the MIVA Semifinals.
The first match of the season is on January 10, when Queens comes to Purdue Fort Wayne for a match on Arnie Ball Court.
