FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne's 5th Annual Mastodon Run 4 Scholarships presented by Fort Wayne Orthopedics is now open for registration. The event will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, and begins at the Gates Athletic Center Fieldhouse at 9 a.m. MR4S raises funds for Purdue Fort Wayne athletic scholarships. This year is the second running of the Donut 5K with tasty treats provided by Tim Hortons.
Runners can sign up for the Donut 5K for $25 or enjoy the 1 Mile Family Walk for $25 a family. Little 'Dons between the ages of 7-12 can participate in the Kids Challenge for $5. The Purdue Fort Wayne campus will be the course for the 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk. The free Kids Challenge and free Kids Dash will occur shortly after in the Gates Athletic Center Fieldhouse.
