Scouting the Mastodons (4-1-2, 0-0-0 Summit League)
Purdue Fort Wayne is coming into the match on a three-game win streak (all shutouts) and a six-game unbeaten streak. This has been the best start to the season for the Mastodons in program history through seven games. The Mastodons are ranked 19th in the nation for shots on goal per game (9.60). On September 15, the 'Dons pulled off a 2-0 shutout against the Detroit Mercy Titans. Eliese LaCourt scored the first goal for the Mastodons. The second goal was scored by Morgan Reitano who intercepted a pass between two Titans and kicked the ball to the left corner, past the keeper.
Scouting the Cardinals (5-2-0, 0-0-0 Mid-American Conference)
Ball State faced off against Florida Gulf Coast (Sept. 15), but couldn't contain FGCU's offense and lost 2-0.
