Mastodons Fall To The Cardinals 4-0

MUNCIE, Ind. - After a hot evening at the Briner Sports Complex on Friday (Sept. 20), Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer fell to Ball State 4-0. This was the Mastodons' first loss in seven games.
Ball State put a goal on the board in the first six minutes of play, with Peighton Cook drilling a shot that hit the cross bar and bouncing into the goal. This was eventually the game-winning goal. The Cardinals tacked on three more goals at the 24th minute, 75th minute and 86th minute.
The Mastodons led the way in corner kicks 4-1. Kayla Wisniewski and Morgan Reitano combined to record a pair of shots on goal.
Ball State moves to a record of 6-2-0. Purdue Fort Wayne moves to 4-2-2.
Purdue Fort Wayne will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana on Sunday for a matchup against the Indiana State Sycamores on September 22 at 3 p.m.
