Mastodon Women's Basketball Welcomes Western Illinois on Tuesday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball is set for a Tuesday night game against Western Illinois at the Gates Sports Center. This will be the last home game for 18 days, until the 'Dons return home to face Omaha for Senior Day and Pink Out.

She has recorded at least two blocks in six games in Summit League play, including a season-high five against Oral Roberts.

Sh'Toya Sanders had a career-high 17 rebounds in Purdue Fort Wayne's game against North Dakota on February 1. This surpassed her previous high of 15 that she had against Southeast Missouri. She is averaging 8.8 boards per game, which ranks seventh in program history for a season average.
Nearing 1,000
Senior Hannah Albrecht is nearing 1,000 points for her career, as she currently has 952 points in her four-year career. After spending one season at Division II Saint Joseph's College, the college closed in 2017, so Albrecht transferred to Purdue Fort Wayne to play the final three years of her career.
Pump the Clutch
Purdue Fort Wayne beat Omaha on Sunday, January 26 by storming back in the final minute. The 'Dons trailed by four, but scored 10 points in the final 60 seconds to defeat the Mavericks on their home floor. Hannah Hess banked in a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left, and Hannah Albrecht drained the game-winning free throws with 0.8 remaining on the clock.
No Buckets For You!
Purdue Fort Wayne held Oral Roberts without a field goal for the first 6:24 of their game on January 16. The Golden Eagles only made one free throw in this opening stretch that put the Mastodons up 16-1.
