Four Mastodons Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its All-American Scholars on Monday, June 29, and four Purdue Fort Wayne women's golfers were included on the list: Emma Schroeder, Holly Anderson, Kennedy Brooker and Laura Caetano.
Schroeder and Brooker are repeat honorees, as they picked up the honor as freshmen. Anderson and Caetano are first-time award winners, becoming the 11th and 12th Mastodons to earn the distinction.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The requirements are a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, played in at least 50 percent of their teams competitions, and have high moral standing based on their respective coach's recommendation.
The four Mastodons named All-American Scholars were in the Purdue Fort Wayne starting five, leading the way to the program's lowest season average in history with a 312.27 average in the shortened 2019-20 season.
