
Men’s Hoops Earns NABC Team Academic Excellence Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's basketball program has been honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) with a Team Academic Excellence Award, the association announced.
The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better for the 2019-20 season. In order to earn a NABC Team Excellence Award, institutions in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA Division I and II must count the grade point average of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2019-20 season.
The 'Dons were one of four Horizon League teams to earn the honor.
