Jarred Godfrey Named to All-Horizon League Third team

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne junior guard Jarred Godfrey has been named to the 2020-21 All-Horizon League Men's Basketball Third team, the league announced on Tuesday.
This season he has averaged a team-best 15.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He had 41 points against UIC this season, tying for third most points by a player in a game this season. He was named the Horizon League Player of the Week and earned CollegeInsider.com National Player of the Week honors for his effort against UIC. Godfrey finished the regular season shooting 48.3 percent from the floor and 38.5 from three. He helped the team finish the regular season ranking 11th in the nation in both field goal shooting and 3-point shooting.
This is the second straight season Godfrey has earned a league honor. Last season he was named All-Summit League Honorable Mention. Earlier this season he went over 1,000 career points.
The Mastodons open the Horizon League Championship on Thursday (February 25) at Green Bay.
