FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball is set for its third week of Horizon League play as the Mastodons will hit the road to face rival IUPUI on Monday and Tuesday.

The Jaguars are led by a freshman this season, as Maddie Haines is first on the team with 3.25 kills per set. Darragh Dixon is pacing the offense with 8.58 assists per set. Defensively, Rhiannon Schuenemann is the best on the team with a 4.29 digs per set clip.

One of the longest-running series for Purdue Fort Wayne is against IUPUI. The two squads have met 50 times with Purdue Fort Wayne taking more than half the meetings. After leading the Mastodons to a 2-0 week against Youngstown State, Katie Crowe was named one of the Horizon League' two Players of the Week on February 4. Crowe averaged 5.00 kills per set, a .359 hitting percentage, 4.67 digs per set and 1.17 aces per set against the Penguins. She recorded her 37th and 38th career double-doubles, while also reaching 1,000 kills for her career. This was her first Horizon League Player of the Week honor, but she was named the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week twice in 2019.

The Last to Reach the Summit, The First on the Horizon
Katie Crowe was the last Mastodon to receive First Team All-Summit League accolades, as she earned the honor in 2019. She was also the first Mastodon in program history to be named Horizon League Player of the Week, as she earned the honor on Feburary 4, 2021.
