FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team will play for their first Horizon League Championship on April 25-27.

Competing Teams
Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne, UIC and Youngstown State will be competing for a Horizon League Championship.
Ackerman-Allen Course
The Ackerman-Allen Course, a Pete Dye design, is an 18-hole, parkland-style, par-72 championship golf course featuring large bent-grass greens, fairways and tees. The layout presents a challenge for golfers of all abilities with rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, white sand bunkers, and minimal water hazards. Ackerman-Allen offers five sets of tees with the championship tees playing over 7,500 yards and the forward tees playing at 5,300 yards.
Mastodon Lineup
Holly Anderson, Emma Schroeder, Laura Caetano, Anna Olafsdottir and Kennedy Brooker will play for the team score. There will be no individuals.
Somebody Call 911!
The Mastodons broke the program's 54-hole record on March 23 at the Nevel Meade Collegiate with a team score of 911. Emma Schroeder and Holly Anderson both tied for fifth, helping Purdue Fort Wayne break the record that was set just last season in the fall of 2019. The previous record of 912 was set at the Golfweek Program Championship.
Top 10 Finishers
The Mastodons have a combined 12 top-10 finishes at tournaments through their careers. Holly Anderson has six, Emma Schroeder and Linnzie Richner have two each, and Laura Caetano and Kennedy Brooker have one each.
The Two Best
Holly Anderson and Emma Schroeder have the two best career averages of all Mastodon women's golfers in program history. Anderson holds the record at 77.40 strokes per round while Schroeder is second at 80.25. They both have 48 career rounds as Mastodons.
Last Time Out
Holly Anderson took fourth place at the Lady Jag Invite, leading the Mastodons to a third-place finish as a team.
Next Time Up
The NCAA tournament will await the winners of the Horizon League Championship, which will take place in late May.
