Madelyn Wurster Named to Horizon League All-Tournament Team

INDIANAPOLIS - The Horizon League announced its All-Tournament Team on Saturday (April 3) and Purdue Fort Wayne's Madelyn Wurster was selected as one of the honorees.
In Purdue Fort Wayne's first season in the Horizon League, the Mastodons finished fourth in the regular season to earn a berth to the League Championship. The Mastodons played top-seeded Wright State in the semifinal round, in which Wurster was the team-leader in kills with nine, averaging to 3.00 per set. The junior opposite also had six digs and block.
Wright State went on to win the Horizon League Championship with a five-set win over UIC in the final.
The Mastodons concluded their spring 2021 season with a 10-7 record and will return to the court in the fall for their second season in the Horizon League.
