Holly Anderson Selected to All-Horizon League Second Team

INDIANAPOLIS - The Horizon League announced its women's golf All-League Team on Friday (April 30) and Purdue Fort Wayne senior Holly Anderson was named to the All-League Second Team.
Anderson is the best women's golfer in program history. She holds the best career average (77.39) and win/loss percentage (.765).
In the 2020-21 season, Anderson recorded the best individual season scoring average of 76.4 with a program best 216-52 record. This year, she tied the 18-hole record of 69 and set a new 36-hole record of 145 at the Colonel Classic (March 30). Anderson had two top-five and two top-10 finishes.
As the No. 1 golfer on the Mastodons roster, Anderson led the team to the best season scoring average in program history at 311.8. The team also set a new 54-hole record with a 911 score at the Nevel Meade Collegiate (March 23).
Anderson becomes the first All-League performer since the Mastodons joined a Division I conference. Jillian Speece was named to the Independent All-League Second Team in 2007.
Even though she has played four seasons in college (three at Purdue Fort Wayne, one at Ball State), she intends to return for another season with the Mastodons in 2021-22.
