Cory Waldron Selected to Outdoor #HLTF All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne's Cory Waldron was selected as one of the 16-member Horizon League outdoor men's track and field All-Academic team, the league announced on Wednesday, June 23. Waldron was named to the Horizon League indoor men's track and field All-Academic team last week.
To be eligible for the Horizon League All-Academic Team, student-athletes must participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests, complete one year at the member school and pass 24 credit hours at that institution. Eligible candidates must have completed one academic year prior to the start of their athletic season. Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.00 scale.
Waldron, who just finished his sophomore season, was named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 2020. He is a member of the 4x400 meter relay squad that holds the Purdue Fort Wayne program record and also took third at the Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Waldron, who is majoring in business marketing, holds a 3.90 cumulative GPA.
