Cain Hohne Named #HLTF Field Athlete of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – The Purdue Fort Wayne track and field team picked up their first weekly honor of the season on Tuesday (Dec. 13). Senior Cain Hohne was named the Horizon League Field Athlete of the Week.
Hohne (Leopold, Ind. / Perry Central HS) earned the honor after setting a school record in the high jump at Indiana Tech's Strive for Greatness Invitational on Saturday. He earned a mark of 2.04m. Hohne finished first at the event. His height ranks second in the Horizon League this season.
This is Hohne's first career weekly honor.
The Mastodons are back in action Jan. 6 at the Illini Classic.
