DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team's opening round of the Sacred Heart Invitational was cut short on Friday (March 11) due to darkness.
The tournament was played as lift, clean and place, which slowed the pace of play, causing the last groups of the day to not finish. The first round will be finished tomorrow morning (March 12) before the final round.
The Mastodons were able to finish their round, shooting 303 as a team, finishing in fifth of those that were able to finish. A full recap of the team's results will be available tomorrow after the completion of the final round.
