Men's Track & Field Finishes Regular Season With Three Program Records

ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track & field team closed the 2022 regular season with three new program records at day three of the 2022 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The men's 4 by 400-meter relay team of Brent Donaldson, Nicolas Blair, Braxton Trittipo, and Joe Cartwright's time of 3:16.49 bested the previous record of 3:21.01, which was set back on April 2. The relay team finished second and scored eight team points.
The men's 4 by 100-meter relay team of Brent Donaldson, John Jackman, Dona Fagnon, and Luke Beehler's time of 42.12 seconds broke the previous record of 42.24 seconds, which was set back on April 30. The relay team finished third and scored six team points.
Tritttipo's time of 48.73 seconds in the 400-meter dash broke his own school record of 48.90 seconds he set yesterday. He finished fourth overall in the event and scored five team points.
After the third and final day of competition, the Mastodons finished fifth out of eight teams with 72 points. Youngstown State won the meet with 272 points.
Other point scorers included Donaldson finishing fourth in the 400-meter hurdles (53.90 seconds, five points). Asher Walden (49.03 meters) and Zyler Johnson (46.75 meters) were fifth and sixth in the weight throw, combining for seven points.
Cain Hohne was seventh in the high jump (1.98 meters, two points). Kehinde Oladapo (1:57.41) and Kobe Milledge (1:58.07) finished seventh and eighth in the 800-meter run, combining for three points.
