
Purdue Fort Wayne Women's Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer head coach Jason Burr has announced the schedule for the Mastodons' 2022 season.
The season consists of two exhibition contests, eight non-league games, and 10 Horizon League games. There will be nine regular season home games at the Hefner Soccer Complex and nine away from the Summit City.
The 2022 Horizon League Championship opens on October 30. The top six in the regular season standings qualify for the postseason.
The season opens with exhibition matches at Indiana State (Aug. 7) and against Goshen (Aug. 15). The regular season starts with a home game against Chicago State on August 18. The Mastodons will hit the road for two games at Eastern Illinois (Aug. 21) and Toledo (Aug. 25) before returning home for a pair against Bellarmine (Aug. 28) and Ball State (Sept. 1). The 'Dons will round out non-league play with two road games at Southern Illinois (Sept. 4) and Valparaiso (Sept. 9) and a home game against first-year Division I program Southern Indiana (Sept. 11).
Horizon League play starts with two home games for the Mastodons against IUPUI (Sept. 18) and Robert Morris (Sept. 22). A road trip to Oakland (Sept. 25) closes out September. The 'Dons host Milwaukee (Oct. 1) and Northern Kentucky (Oct. 6) before a two-game stint at Wright State (Oct. 9) and at Youngstown State (Oct. 13). The last regular season home game at the Henfer Soccer Complex will be on October 16 against Green Bay. The 'Dons hit the road for games at Detroit Mercy (Oct. 22) and Cleveland State (Oct. 26) to wrap up the regular season.
