Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball Squads Earn Perfect APR Scores

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer and women's volleyball teams earned perfect 1,000 multi-year Academic Progress Rate scores, in the data released by the NCAA on Tuesday (June 14).
APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation, which provides a measure of each team's academic performance. Multi-year APR scores released on Tuesday are based on the averages from the single year scores of the (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21). A perfect score is 1,000. Multi-year scores were not published in 2021.
Only two other women's soccer programs in the Horizon League earned a 1,000 multi-year rate. Five total women's volleyball teams in the league received a 1,000. The Mastodon women's golf team earned a 992, tied for third in the Horizon League.
Men's basketball's 984 multi-year score tied for third best in the Horizon League. The 'Dons join Indiana, Notre Dame, IUPUI, Ball State and Purdue as the only men's hoops teams in the state to record a multi-year rate above 965.
Men's golf, women's soccer and women's volleyball each received perfect single-year scores based on the 2020-21 academic year.
