Purdue Fort Wayne Women's Golf Finishes 16th in WGCA's Division I GPA List

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team had the 16th-best GPA among Division I schools in 2021-22, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced on Wednesday (July 20). The Mastodons took the No. 16 spot thanks to a 3.817 team GPA.
Purdue Fort Wayne was the highest-ranked Horizon League program in the top 25. Green Bay was the only other league representation at No. 24 (3.782 GPA). Purdue Fort Wayne is also the only Division I program from the state of Indiana in the top 25.
The women's golf program at Purdue Fort Wayne was recognized earlier this year with the Raise Your Sights Award by the Horizon League, honoring the highest GPA at each institution.
Four student-athletes on the women's golf team had a perfect 4.00 GPA in the 2021-22 season: Sarah Brenneman, Luiza Caetano, Taylor Norman and Anna Olafsdottir.
The Mastodons return to the course on September 4 when they travel to the A-Ga-Ming Invitational.
