FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After setting five program records at the Cardinal Classic, the Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team will try to break them at the Briar Ridge Invitational on Sunday and Monday (Sept. 25-26).

The rolling fairways of Briar Ridge Country Club's three 9-hole courses are both challenging and inviting, catering to golfers at all skill levels. Designed by Larry Packard, the courses offer the best playing conditions in the region. The courses play between 5,200 and 6,900.

Laura Caetano, a native of Brasilia, Brazil, has the second-best career average in Mastodon history. She has an average of 79.17, which only trails Holly Anderson's 77.39. Anderson played for the Mastodons from 2018-21. Caetano's career-best of 72 came in her first season at Purdue Fort Wayne at the Golfweek Program Championship.

Anna Olafsdottir ranks just behind Caetano in career scoring average. The junior from Iceland is averaging 79.34 strokes per round. She has a top-five and three top-10 finishes in her career, the most recent of which came at the Cardinal Classic on September 20, where she took fourth.
