Mastodon Men's Volleyball Releases 2024 Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne's men's volleyball head coach Ryan Perrotte has announced his program's schedule for the 2024 season.
The 'Dons start their season in January with non-MIVA matches, highlighted by back-to-back matches against Hawai'i. Purdue Fort Wayne begins the season with back-to-back home matches against Thomas More (Jan. 5) and North Greenville (Jan. 6). The Mastodons then travel to the East Coast to play Sacred Heart (Jan. 12) and NJIT (Jan. 13).
Purdue Fort Wayne plays the next week at home against Maryville (Jan. 19). The 'Dons then host 2023 NCAA runner-up Hawai'i for back-to-back matches on January 25 and 26.
Purdue Fort Wayne finishes their non-MIVA schedule with home matches against Saint Francis (Feb. 2) and 2023 national semifinalist Penn State on February 3 for homecoming. The Mastodons will begin their MIVA matches in the Gates Sports Center against Loyola Chicago on February 6.
Purdue Fort Wayne will travel to Queens on February 9 and 10 for the Royals' first year in the MIVA. The following week, the 'Dons travel south to play at Ball State on February 15. Purdue Fort Wayne ends their road trip against last year's MIVA champion, Ohio State, on February 20.
The Mastodons will then host McKendree for a brief homestand on February 23 and 24. Purdue Fort Wayne will travel to Illinois to play Loyola Chicago on February 29 and Lewis on March 2.
The 'Dons will host three straight games after a break. Lindenwood will be the first team to visit the Gates Sports Center during this stretch on March 15, followed by Ohio State on March 16. The Mastodons will end their home stretch by hosting Ball State on March 23.
Purdue Fort Wayne takes to the road to end March, visiting Lindenwood on March 29. The 'Dons will then travel to Quincy the next night.
The 'Dons will wrap up their regular season at home. The Mastodons will host Lewis on April 4 and Quincy on April 6.
The MIVA Tournament begins on April 13, with the top eight teams qualifying. The first round matches will be played at the top four seeds. The semifinal and championship match will be played at the remaining highest seed.
Purdue Fort Wayne are returning a key core of Jon Diedrich, Zach Solomon, Bryce Walker and Mark Frazier from the 2023 team. The 'Dons look to improve upon their 16-13 record and fourth-place regular season finish from a year ago.
