Women's Volleyball Hits the Road to Green Bay

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball will visit Green Bay for a pair of Horizon League matches this weekend.

Green Bay is 5-10 and 2-1 to start Horizon League play. The Phoenix beat Youngstown State twice on the road, but fell to Milwaukee in Green Bay in four sets. Cora Behnke (2.95), Katie Schulz (2.88) and Danilynn Schell (2.33) are the team's kills per set leaders. The Phoenix have been running primarily a 5-1 offensive system led by Calli Gentry, dishing out 8.41 assists per set.
Series History
Green Bay leads the all-time series over the 'Dons 9-7, but Purdue Fort Wayne won the last match 3-0. The Mastodons' last win in Green Bay came in 2021, which was a 3-1 win in which Nicole Jones dished out 19 assists and had six kills. The series dates back to 2001, the Mastodons' first year as a Division I member.

Nicole Jones had three double-doubles in a row against Michigan State, Saint Francis (Pa.) and Indiana State, marking the first time since 2021 a Mastodon had done so. She was named the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational MVP for her efforts.
You Betts-a Believe It
LonDynn Betts became a member of the 1,000-dig club at Michigan State on September 17. She became the 21st Mastodon to join the club, and the first since Rachael Crucis in 2022. She will be honored with a game ball prior to the Mastodons' game against Oakland on October 11.
Hungary for More
Panna Ratkai has 20 or more kills in 17 matches in her career with five coming this season. She had 12 as a redshirt-freshman. This season, she has 251 total kills, which ranks third in the country.
Last Time Out
Purdue Fort Wayne swept IU Indianapolis on Tuesday (Oct. 1) in its first league match at home. Iris Riegel and Riley Rosneck both had double-digit kill performances in the win.
